Perfect, Relaxing Vacation Spot

We recently spent a week at Parker Shores and I definitely plan to go back! I happily reccomend this house as a great get away. If you're looking for a quiet, restful vacay -- look no further! There are canoes, bikes, kayaks, fishing off the pier. The house is very comfortable and homey. There were four adults and one child in our party for the week. We all had a great time. The house was nicely equipped and if we needed anything at all Bill was quick to meet our needs. Also, I highly recommend going on the Chesapeake Wine Trail!!!!

Wonderful Family Vacation

Bill, you have a wonderful home and you are a wonderful host! My wife, our 3 kids (ages 9-14), my mother-in-law and my sister-in-law along with our two dogs stayed here during the first week of August 2011. It was a perfect vacation and your home truly fit all of our needs. The foosball table and ping-pong table, the canoe and kayaks and the kids' bikes got plenty of use as did the provided fishing gear and crabbing gear. The house was big enough for us all and comfortable enough to feel like home. Thanks so much for always being available to us and for your wonderful hospitality. We miss the "rivah" already and would love to return again....maybe for an adult get-away and winery tour weekend this Fall? Thanks so much for opening your home to us and for your attention to every detail.

Quiet Getaway

Perfect vacation spot if you enjoy spending time watching wildlife,fishing, and kayaking.Had fun on the dock checking out crabpots . The house was comfortable and very roomy for taking adult children and grandkids and was nice place to spend time away with family. Bill the owner was very nice and helpful whenenever we needed info. If you bring a boat pay close attention to tides so you get in and out before low tides.Didn't go out looking for things to do enjoyed looking out at water. Saw bald eagles, herons, and osprey.. Caught lots of croaker out in boat... Saw lots of small brown rays and caught a big one.. Had a nice time.. :)
